Originally formed as RAM’s Forge in 1976 as a forged metals and forging instruction business specializing in Colonial reproduction ironwork, it was due to its’ diversification that a new name was required. Randy’s book, “A Blacksmithing Primer, A Course In Basic and Intermediate Blacksmithing”, which was originally self-published, was the catalyst for this change. Next was the change of focus from totally forged work to sculptures which combine forged and lasered metals and the move to resonating sculptures in bronze, brass and beryllium copper. His book has been purchased by Finney Books and the 6 hour video program is produced by Love of Art Productions. This allows Randy more time to focus on his artwork and other ventures.
